Before beginning his legal studies, Toufic earned a bachelor’s degree in public affairs and policy management, which has greatly helped him analyze regulatory issues affecting Canada’s digital assets and blockchain market. Although entrepreneurship has always been his passion, it will forever remain his plan B after an unsuccessful attempt to play football for Chelsea F.C.

Robert Zalcman

Before joining the firm, Aaron was an equity partner at Aird & Berlis. He is also the co-founder of 4L Academy 🎓, an organization that provides modern, interactive training for Canadian law students and young lawyers. Aaron’s practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions and technology, but he also works with a wide range of clients on commercial and corporate matters.

Pouya helps fintech companies navigate the complexities of Canadian anti-money laundering and securities regulations through creative approaches and practical solutions. His clients include payment service providers, electronic money businesses, and cryptocurrency exchanges. Outside of work, Pouya teaches blockchain law at George Brown College and serves on both the Legal Committee and the Banking Access Committee of the Canadian Blockchain Consortium.

Bianca is originally from Montreal, Quebec, and oversees our firm’s intellectual property practice as a trademark agent in training. She is passionate about helping businesses protect their most valuable assets and will work with you to develop the best strategy. Bianca brings significant experience in the technology and Web3 industries, holding a master’s degree in Intellectual Property and Emerging Technologies from Paris. She also co-founded Canada’s first NFT gallery.
Bianca Lessard

I solve complex legal and compliance challenges with expertise in IIROC, CSA (PM/IFM/EMD), SEC/RIA, cryptocurrency, anti-money laundering, and privacy matters. I have extensive experience in regulatory mergers and acquisitions, new registrations, and business change applications, as well as cross-border issues. As an experienced General Counsel and member of the executive team, I am also a licensed Portfolio Manager. I provide team leadership and mentorship, offering practical, business-focused advice.

Prior to joining the firm, she completed a dual master's degree in Intellectual Property Law and Emerging Technology. When she's not at the office, you can probably find her at 0x Society, the crypto art gallery she co-founded!

Ari Mike Varjabedian
Alexandra is a second-year law student at the Lincoln Alexander School of Law with a passion for emerging technologies. Throughout her undergrad and law school, she worked in cybersecurity for the Government of Canada. In addition to this, she has worked with multiple refugee law organizations, including the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees. When she’s not working, she’s either cooking or trying out new restaurants.

He comes with nearly a decade's experience doing sales and marketing at Fortune 100 and tech startup companies. He is the winner of the Drucker Challenge and a leader of tomorrow from the Swiss Symposium. In his spare time, he is an avid reader, writer, and dad joke connoisseur.
